PK services will transition to Europe on December 2nd, 2025

This fall, the McMaster PopPK (MPPK) service will be transitioning to Europe to fulfil legislative changes which came into force in the latest medical device regulation. In order to ease the use of PK guided prophylaxis, the data entry points will be integrated into the florio® HAEMO dashboard.

We are delighted to announce that you will have available a new, re-designed user interface based upon collected feedback and suggestions, aimed to further simplify the process. In the background, the new user interface will use the same trusted population PK models as before and run on a PK engine provided by a certified 3rd party located in Europe.

Validation and approval of individual PopPK profiles will remain unchanged.

Importantly, data privacy and handling will remain in accordance with GDPR.

Starting on November 30th, 2025 and for a transition time of at least 3 months, the MPPK services will stay available as a read-only website and will continue to provide PK levels to patients using the patient app. You will have the opportunity to migrate historic data to florio® HAEMO if you would like to do so.

At this time, there is no action required from you.
